This online food magazine is the work of people who are passionate about food. So passionate that we have to tell the world when we make a fantastic dish. When a recipe delivers all it promised and more. When a restaurant changes the way we think of a particular cuisine.

Andrew Z. Galarneau is the editor of One Big Kitchen. He writes for The Buffalo News, and cooks barbecue, though rarely at the same time. His cooking videos, new every two weeks, are available here (click “Elements” on the lefthand rail).
He’s written most of the words here, and taken most of the pictures. He is to be blamed if something goes wrong. For its first year and a half, this collection of articles was called Buffalo Buffet. It moved when a better address became available.
Cookbook Editor Lauren Newkirk Maynard is a freelance writer who previously served as managing editor at Artvoice, Buffalo’s oldest newsweekly. Her work has been published in Edible Buffalo, Buffalo Spree magazine, Buffalo Rising magazine, Artvoice and online at Buffalo Buffet. When she’s not obsessing about food, Lauren works as an editor and writer at the University at Buffalo. She is a proud member of Buffalo First, Slow Food Buffalo and the UB Environmental Task Force.
